MAKE SOMEONE FEEL IMPORTANT!

aaIBIROሐNKE IBIKUNLE

PULL OTHERS UP, MAKE THEM FEEL IMPORTANT

This is a country where only few care about others and how others should be treated.

It is paramount that every man, every woman, every boy, every girl be treated with respect; no matter how old you are and no matter how young they are. Make people see themselves as the most relevant person they can be and not pull them down or make them see you as the most significant.

A lady was asked to say something about two great prime ministers of England . She said ” William Gladstone was knowledgeable in a wide range, a deep thinker and certainly a man of great achievement, he told me all his achievements and i knew he was perhaps the most brilliant man England ever produced”
and then when asked about the other, she said ” After speaking with Benjamin Disraeli, I was so convinced that I was one of the brightest, wittiest and knowledgeable people England has ever produced”

There is a huge difference in the lady’s confirmation, Disraeli followed the greatest human relationship principle when he recognized the fact that everyone needs to be made to FEEL IMPORTANT.

People are Insecure, Give them confidence
People want to feel special, compliment them
People desire a greater tomorrow, give them hope
People nees to be understood, listen to them
People get emotionally low, encourage them
People want to be associated with success, help them win.

Be the Kind people see as HOPE !
#MAKE_SOMEONE_FEEL_IMPORTANT_TODAY.

Happy new month.

A LESSON WE SHOULD LEARN FROM FAILURE

The gift is not to be a follower forever, but a Leader.

The gift is not to be a follower forever, but a Leader.

This is a guest post by Philip Murphy.

Put simply, failure hurts..
Everyone has failed at
some point, but it’s less about the failure itself
and more about how the person who has failed picks themselves up, dusts off that failure and gets back to work.
Go down a list of great innovators, thinkers,
artists, athletes, Hollywood stars and public
figures and you’ll see a Who’s Who of people
who used failure as a driving force on their way
to re-shaping the American culture and lifestyle.
People like Henry Ford, Abraham Lincoln, Albert
Einstein, Steven Spielberg, Michael Jordan and
Elvis Presley all achieved greatness along
avenues paved with failure.
What each of those people took from their
failures was different, but here are six lessons
that anyone can take from their missed
attempts at success.

1. Failure does not actually exist.
Usually, things don’t work out for a reason.
Failures are a natural method for someone to
move toward a better path. What someone may
perceive as failure is likely just a lesson they’ll
learn on their road to success. It only becomes
a true failure if they don’t take ownership of
mistakes and attempt to learn from those
errors or do the right things to fix them.
With this in mind, failure is actually a means to
an end rather than simply being the end. Failure
then, means changing direction.

2. The learning process is
always valuable.
Someone who has failed is best served by
exploring the reasons why and being open to
learning what they could have done better.
Once they’ve done that and taken steps to
improve their performance rather than feeling
defeated, they can recommit to trying again.
One of the worst side-effects of failure is
losing the desire and the courage to try again.
Effective learning can only be done when those
without ego have the long view in mind and stay
connected to why they started along their
current path in the first place.

3. Taking chances is the key
to success.
A famous Air Jordan commercial featuring “His
Airness” himself once stated: “I’ve missed
more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost
almost 300 games. Twenty six times, I’ve been
trusted to take the game winning shot and
missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again
in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
The point Michael Jordan is articulating is pretty
simple. With great risk, comes great reward. If
you never make a real attempt, you’ll never
succeed. Instead, you’ll wonder what might
have been if you hadn’t been so afraid to fail.

4. You are capable of more than you think.
Odds are, you are much more of an expert on
something than you realize. People tend to
forget about how much they really know
concerning their topic of expertise because
they get caught up in daily life. But, if
challenged to write it all down, they tend to
know a lot more than they realize.

5. Perseverance is an asset.
Failure is going to happen, but this does not
mean failure translates to success.
Perseverance is the engine that makes the
journey from failure to success possible,
because when someone fails it doesn’t
automatically mean they won’t try something
else that doesn’t work. Failing again is always
possible, after which perseverance is the only
thing that will see them through the next rinse
and repeat cycle.
When it’s all said and done, someone who fails
has to own their mistakes and move forward
with a focus on improving things they did that
were successful in some way rather than focus
solely on avoiding things that contributed to
their failures.

6. You are not alone.
Failure can feel like a lonely experience, but all
it takes is tracking down someone who has
found even a modicum of success to find a
person who understands the struggle of coping
with failure.
Famous examples of this can be found
practically everywhere you turn, but one story
that stands out is a man who played a big role
in our daily lives.
Thomas Edison was once told by his grade
school teachers that he was “too stupid to
learn anything.” He was fired from his first two
jobs due to a lack of productivity. In the
process of inventing the lightbulb, Edison made
hundreds of unsuccessful designs before finding
the one that eventually revolutionized the way
people live their lives to this day.
Edison addressed failure often, both in his life
and in his words. There is perhaps no better
conclusion to this reading than a quote from
the man whose list of innovations includes the
telegraph, paraffin paper, the phonograph and,
of course, the electric lighting we rely so
heavily on.
“Many of life’s failures are from people who did
not realize how close they were to success
when they gave up.”

BREAK DOWN THE BRIDGE !!

Is there a lack of progress in your life because
as soon as you start one thing you drop it and
start something else? Can having too many
options become a drawback rather than a
positive thing?
I recently rewatched the movie “300 Spartans.” The
movie, which is partly based on historical events
and part fiction, tells the story of the Spartan
King Leonidus, who went to fight the Persian
King Xerxes during the war between the Greeks
and Persians. What made the battles Leonidus
fought so remarkable, according to Greek
mythology, is that he took only 300 men to
fight against Xerxes’ army of over two million
men. 250*250 OPEN
breaking down the bridges, however, is not something
to be taken lightly. It requires careful though and
reflection. The process of deciding your purpose
in life and what you want out of life can be a
long one and can take many months and even
years of refining as you get to know yourself
better and explore the possibilities life has given
you. But once you reach a point where you know
hat you want out of life, you need to break down your
bridges. You must let go of all other options and
pursue the thing that you truly want. In reality
this may be several things. The point is that
these things make up your vision for your life.
That is the vision you must be totally committed
to.

Break down the Bridges – having options
can be a drawback

Do not say to yourself “I will try to be a
great singer and if that fails then I will try
teaching.” Such light hearted decisions
rarely bear lasting fruit. Decide to be a
singer, if that’s your passion in life, and
stick to it relentlessly. Having options
makes you lazy. Having options makes
you unfocused and undetermined.
For instance, one area where people
make the mistake of thinking they have
options is in marriage. They marry
someone and after some time think that
if things don’t work out they could always get a
divorce and find someone “more suitable.” The
result is inevitably that their marriage fails, not
so much because they couldn’t make it work or
they had “irreconcilable differences,” but
because they still had options. They did not burn
their bridges, and rather than work hard at
making their marriage a success they took the
easy way out and went for the next option.
Marriage is not the only place where people
leave themselves with options. There are
millions of people around the world who have
settled for second best. They have settled for
the safest options in their lives. Yes, they may
not be truly happy and fulfilled, but they are
surviving, some in grand style. The trouble is
that deep down they know that they have settled
for less than what they truly want. There is that
nagging voice in the back of their minds saying

“you could have done far better.” That voice
often carries the truth of our purpose in life.”
When our lives and our deepest desires are not
in harmony we often know it. 250*250 OPEN AIR

BREAK DOWN Your Bridges – know what you want
Creating that harmony starts with knowing
exactly what you want out of life. Design the life
you want in your mind. Be sure of it. Then
discard all other options. It is either you will
have that life or you will not live at all. It is
either you will succeed at getting what you truly
want in life or you will die trying all the days of
your life. Do not settle for anything less.
Coming up with an alternative life will not and
should not do. Yes, you may need to rework the
route to your ultimate desires every now and
then, but never change the destination.

BREAK DOWN Your Bridges – cross the bridge first
A word of caution: Don’t burn your bridges
before you’ve crossed them. Burning your
bridges does not mean dropping everything at
once in the pursuit of your dreams. Dreams have
to be worked out intelligently. One step at a
time does it. Plan. Set goals and targets. Work
consistently but patiently. Know how you will get
by on the way to achieving your dreams. The
important thing is that you never lose sight of
your dreams and never give up on them.

CONCLUSION
Have faith in God and in yourself that you will
prevail and achieve your dreams. As the book of
Hebrews says: “Now the just shall live by faith:
but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no
pleasure in him.”

STEVE JOBB’S TOP 10 RULES FOR A SUCCESSFUL LIFE..

Happy Sunday unique minds
It is considered generosity to share your success tips with people. Even though we all say, Success is a REWARD for hardwork.

He’s considered the “Father of the Digital
Revolution,” a “master of innovation,” and a
“design perfectionist.” He shifted the world we
live in with his inventions. He had a net worth of
over $8 billion in 2010. He’s one of my personal
favorite entrepreneurs of all time because he
basically started from the bottom and managed
to become one of the most influential people in
the world.
He’s Steve Jobs from Apple and….

Here are the top 10 Steve Jobs rules for success.

1. Don’t live a limited life
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living
someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma
– which is living with the results of other
people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s
opinions drown out your own inner voice. And
most important, have the courage to follow your
heart and intuition. They somehow already know
what you truly want to become. Everything else
is secondary.” – Steve Jobs

2. Have passion
If you’re not passionate enough from the start,
you’ll never stick it out. With any job, there are
aspects of work that are frustrating and difficult
—even with the greatest dream job in the world,
but being passionate about it will make you able
to hold on when things get rough.

3. Design for yourself
“Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown
out your own inner voice.” – Steve Jobs
I know it’s cliche, but this is so true, you are
the captain of your own ship ; don’t let anyone
else take the wheel. Design life for yourself, you
won’t receive a second opportunity to do so, so
you either do it now, or you regret it on later in
life.

4. Don’t sell crap
Sell only high quality products, while many would
argue I would say that Apple products have
always been top quality and that’s the reason
why they are still at the top. They just provide
quality products, and because of that they have
loyal customers that are always willing to buy.

5. Build a great team
The people you surround yourself with, are the
people that will shape your future. If you
surround yourself with smart and positive people
that share your vision, well then, you have a
bright future ahead of you. Remember that y ou
are the average of the five people you spend the
most time with, so choose wisely.

6. Don’t do it for the money
Choose a job you love, and you will never have
to work a day in your life . Steve Jobs was worth
100 million dollars when he was 25 years old,
but he didn’t do it for the money. He did it
because he wanted to change the world, he was
an innovator.

7. Be proud of your products
Create products that you can proudly
recommend to friends and family, if your
product is great, money will follow. Make sure
your product is high quality and it’s something
that people would love to use.

8. Build around customers
Customers tend to trust individuals who are
serious about what they do, and willing to take
the time to achieve a deep understanding of
their craft. Take the time every day to learn
more about your customers, their industry and
their challenges.
Needless to say, gaining trust is only part of the
equation. You must also have a product that
customers want and need, and the ability to
show how you’re adding value, solving problems,
and so forth. However, if you don’t earn the
customer’s trust, they’ll probably buy from
someone else whom they do trust–even if the
offering isn’t as good

9. Marketing is about Values
Have you ever seen a Nike advertisement where
they share why they are better than Adidas and
Puma? No, I know you haven’t, because what
they do is they honor great athletes like Michael
Jordan – that’s what they are, that’s who they
are. So make sure your customers know what
your company stands for.

10.Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish
Never be satisfied, and always push yourself. Do not give up
(or be willing to keep trying) the things people
say cannot be done.

In additiona, GOD FIRST !!

Hello unique, I’m sure you had a blessed night…
Rise and make your day with these quotes..

1. The people who care about you will accept
you for who you are, so don’t be afraid to show
the real you.

2. Every person you meet in this world has
something to teach you.

3. Forgive, because you deserve inner peace and
as Mahatma Gandhi said forgiveness is the
attribute of the strong.

4. To risk nothing, is to risk everything. Don’t
be afraid to change, if you don’t like where you
are, you can always move, you are not a tree.

5. If someone is nice to you but rude to the
waiter, they are not a nice person.

6. What you do in private, when nobody is
watching, that’s what matters. That’s the real
you.

7. Adapt to the environment, we as humans have
the ability to adapt to almost everything.

8. Don’t let your dreams, goals and ambitions
die, they have been given to you for a reason.

9. Don’t be afraid of being rejected, be afraid of
not trying.

10. You can’t learn something new by talking,
you can only learn by listening.

11. You don’t fail when you get knocked down or
when you lose, you only fail when you quit.

12.”Unless you’re the lead dog of the sled, the
view never changes.” Following the crowd means
living the same life as the crowd. You don’t want
that.

13. Happiness doesn’t result from what we get, but from what we
give.

14. Do your best and let God do the rest.

15. Successful people don’t have fewer problems. They have
determined that nothing will stop them from going forward.

Guess you will gladly make this quotes meaningful to you… Happy new day 🙂 🙂

15 MOST POWERFUL SHORT QUOTES YOU MIGHT EVER READ

THE TEN MILLION NAIRA QUESTION… you owe me,lol.

It’s Saturday. You wake up and it’s 11am… You
are heading to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee.

You have only one and a half days to rest before
returning to school on Monday. But you are
happy because it’s finally Saturday. You have
one and a half day of relaxation before another
Tiring and exhausting week so you take
your coffee and sit on your matress.
You turn on the laptop and watch some movies,
then you order bread with beans(just like me,lol)from the
local fast food and start scrolling your Facebook
timeline as you eat and watch movie.
The afternoon you go to a colleagues house to
watch football and chat about the girls in your faculty. You come
back home and go to sleep.
This scenario is repeated on Sunday with a
minor change. Then it’s Monday again… aww, you
have to wake up at 5am, go to a place that you
hate and spend half of your day there.

But What’s Your Purpose?
If you felt that the above story relates to you
then you lack purpose in your life. You hate
what you do but you continue the same way of
living even if it’s destroying your soul day after
day.

So why do you keep doing it?

• Because of obligation.
You have a family to feed and no other way to
make ends meet. You need to work at a
disgusting job that makes you sick of yourself.

• Because you are afraid to follow your own
dreams .
You can’t stand the criticism of taking your own
path in life. So you force yourself to take a
predetermined road that others set up for you.
You follow the path that society tells you that
you have to follow if you want to be respectable
and successful.
You see other people acting the same way,
following the same path and you assume that
it’s acceptable as long as other people do it as.
They might now something right? However you
still can’t understand why you wake up feeling
sick of yourself.

• Maybe because you don’t even know what
you want.
How would it be possible to know what path is
right for you before you even passed your
twenties? Even if you feel that you know what
you want you fall into the second trap and give
it up because of fear.
Then you don’t have a fucking clue about what
you should do. So what’s the best option?
The option which guarantees the most
money. You sell your soul to the devil in
exchange for a huge paycheck. No, money is not
evil but you arbitrarily assume that more money
will make you look more “cool”.
Unfortunately, you end up being more miserable.

THE 10 MILLON NAIRA QUESTION YOU SHOULD KNOW !!

Before I tell you the 10 million naira question
you have to understand why it’s important to
have a mission in your life.
Without a mission, you are a nobody. You have
no reason to improve yourself
because you simply exist . You just walk your life
like a robot which doesn’t take its own
decisions. A robot programmed to act in a
certain way.
If you are breathing it doesn’t mean that you
are really alive. You have to discover your
purpose if you want to give your life a
meaning.

Ask yourself: Is that really what I want in my
life?
No, it’s not that question. The answer in the
question above could be a disgusting lie to
yourself.
But let me ask you something else.
Forget your financial insecurities. Let’s assume
that you have 10 million naira in the bank.

What would you do then?
Check out some possible options:
• You would spend the next year in a beach in banana island.
• You would buy a new house, car and fulfill your
materialistic needs.
• You would do nothing for a year except
sleeping, spending and partying.
• All the above.

But what would come after that? What would
you do after an extended period of rest,
partying, shopping and traveling?

You might think that you could never get bored
if you had all these riches. That’s a lie. You
would get bored, 100%.
Why do you think so many rich people are
miserable? Most of these rich miserable people
are the ones who have inherited their huge
fortunes.
They don’t have a purpose, just paper to spend.
When you don’t have a purpose you feel empty.
Sure, it might be fan for a while but after 1-2
years (or less) you would get sick of your own
life. You would feel the same misery with an
average man working on an average job even if
you have all these riches.
The fact is that almost everything like going to
school, college or working is done because we
want to make money.
As a result, we get compromised with doing
things we don’t love. Things that make us sick,
like working on a soul-crushing job or trying to
get a degree in a field that we aren’t even
interested in.
But you do it because you have to survive. You
give up on your dreams because you have to
survive and make ends meet.
But what would you do if you didn’t care about
money at all? What would you do if you had 10
millions in the bank?
Beyond spending, sleeping and partying you would
have to find something that could fulfill you. You
would find your passion and you could have all
the money you need to support you to fully
commit to your dream.
You would be FREE to live your life and follow
your passion.
What would you do if you had 10 million in the
bank? If you never had to care about money
anymore?
Would you do X? Then X is what you HAVE to do
in your life if you want to be truly happy.
X is your life’s purpose!
Only when you remove the money insecurity,
you can truly listen to your heart. You can
discover your mission, what really matters for
you.
If you are not sure about the path you are
following in your life then ask yourself: “would I
follow the same path if I had 10 millions in the
bank?”
If the answer is YES then keep doing what you
are doing. Otherwise stop it right now or you
will regret it in the future. Repressed emotions
will be too much for you to handle, they will beat
you to the ground.
Stop what you are doing right now, no matter
the consequences, and start following X.
Because X is your purpose, X is your mission.
Without X you will never be completely fulfilled.
You will never be free, you will be just another
cog in the system’s wheel, a robot programmed
to wake up the same time every day doing
nothing more than simply existing.

This article might seem harsh and nailing but, once in a while; we should be sincere to one another…
